Tess Murnane is a clinical psychologist, a board-approved supervisor, and an accredited schema therapist with the International Society for Schema Therapy.
She works in a warm, empathic, open, and engaging manner to develop a strong working relationship and a shared understanding of what the challenges and goals are for therapy. She uses evidence-based techniques tailored to each individual, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) techniques, to help clients in their recovery and goals.
She has a particular interest in trauma, having worked as a senior clinical psychologist in a statewide service supporting people recovering from post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition to this area, she enjoys assisting people with a broad range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship difficulties. She sees adults and teenagers above the age of 16.
