Karim has been working as a pharmacist for over 30 years, graduating with honours in 1991 and completing the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1999 at the University of Baghdad. Karim has practiced pharmacy across 4 different countries, developing great communication skills with patients of many different demographics. Karim uses motivational interviewing with patients to achieve the most suitable outcome.

Karim's areas of expertise include identification of medication and lifestyle related problems, tailoring therapy according to patient's needs and beliefs, consideration of Middle Eastern diets and other cultures' diets effect on diabetes management and medication management review.

Karim accepts patients with and without referrals. Medicare care plans from GPs are accepted and bulk billed.

Patients without a care plan will incur a fee of $75 per session.

Karim speaks Arabic (all dialects) and English.
