Dr Aziz has extensive experience and qualifications including general practice medicine; in addition, has previously worked for many years in Neurosurgery and Renal Transplant Surgery, Cardiac, Medical and Surgical ICU and Emergency Medicine.

He is a current examiner with the RACGP, Immediate Past Chair of the Victoria New Fellows Committee, member of the National New Fellows Committee, Future Leaders Alumni 2021, mentor with the RACGP Mentoring program, member of the Business Sustainability Working Group, and has been actively involved with the unprecedented 6 Fellowship ceremonies held in 2022 and was honoured to deliver the oration at the MCG for one of them.
